To kick off summer we are introducing a Seafood & Salad Tower with Rosé Flight as two separate, yet complementary offers from June 2018. The Seafood & Salad Tower is a feast for the eyes as well as the belly, while the flight of rosé wines match perfectly. The Seafood and Salad Tower is £80 including Oysters and £70 without, while the Rose Flight is £23.75 for three 100ml glasses.
For the full Seafood & Salad Tower guests will be served four oysters, eight clams, six jumbo shrimp, four oz lump crab meat, three half lobsters, one bowl of caesar salad, one bowl of quinoa salad – mixed quinoa, sweet potato, pomegranate, spring onion, fennel, orange dressing and one bowl of superfood salad – kale, pomegranate, chilli, tenderstem broccoli, toasted almonds, chilli & almond dressing.
The first rosé selected by our Beverage Manager is Gerard Bertrand 6eme Sens Rosé, Languedoc, France 2015. It is crisp, fresh, tangy with notes of fresh red berries and works wonderfully well as an aperitif, or as an accompaniment to the summery salads. The second of these famed summer wines is Sanford, Santa Rita, California, USA 2015. Fresh and intensely flavoured by delicate red berries on the palate, but with a crisp, dry and refreshing finish, this rose works wonderfully with crab. The third and final wine in the flight is Rosé de Léoube, Provence, France 2017. This rosé wine is a blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, & Mourvèdre completed by a touch of Syrah and Mourvèdre and it makes a generous companion to all types of seafood.
