Smith & Wollensky is delighted to announce its partnership with The Kids’ Table to launch a free service offering supervised fun for kids aged 3 – 10 years old during Sunday lunchtimes.

Starting from Sunday 20th October between 12pm – 4pm, the new concept is designed to allow parents to enjoy some adult time over lunch out while their kids are entertained by a creative team of DBS checked childcarers who will offer face painting, craft activities with a different theme each session, Lego building, friendship bracelet making, drawing, games and more. Two other sessions have been confirmed on 17th November and 19th January with more dates to be announced in 2020.

Dishes will include Mac n Cheese, Wollensky Kids Burger, Steamed Cod with Seasonal Vegetables, Waffles and Blueberry Pancakes. And if that wasn’t enough to keep the kids entertained the restaurant also boasts a create their own ice cream sundae bar with over 15 toppings including S&W wafers, homemade honeycomb, raspberry marshmallows, fresh berries and lashings of salted caramel sauce to name a few! 2-Courses Kids menu including a soft drink, juice, milk or water only £12.50.

Adult Sunday Brunch Menu £22 2-courses and £26 3-courses, add on bottomless Prosecco £22.

The Kids’ Table founder, Sarah Frow said: “As a mother of two, I struggled to find decent family friendly restaurants that offered an equally enjoyable experience for both adults and kids. The places where my friends and I want to while away a Sunday afternoon offer little to keep the children entertained. We were forever having to cut our lunches short because the little ones were bored and wanted to get up and play, or we would put the tablet in front of them to keep them amused. The Kids’ Table means that parents can enjoy the adult environments they want to hang out in during their precious spare time, while the kids have a ball – everyone’s happy!”

The Kids’ Table researched 200 parents in London and Surrey and found that 81% avoid going out for lunch as a family because it’s too much hassle entertaining the kids, while 79% said there weren’t enough pubs or restaurants nearby offering an equally enjoyable experience for parents and their children.
