Team S&W take on the 2.6 Challenge in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support on Sunday 26 April

News & Events 21 Apr 2020

The cancellation of thousands of fundraising events has left a huge hole in charity income leading to a massive £4 billion shortfall for the crucial work they do for so many people. Many charities now face closure.

The Virgin Money London Marathon has teamed up with other UK event organisers to create The 2.6 Challenge, beginning on Sunday 26 April – the day our Head Chef Tom Cook should have been on the start line of the 40th London Marathon, to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Tom Cook and team S&W are stepping up to the plate to complete the 2.6 challenge to fundraise for Macmillan. Tom as Head Chef is going the extra mile by completing 2 x 6 + 2.6 miles (slightly longer than half a marathon). Meanwhile Falko Molitor, General Manager, will be zooming past on a 26 km bicycle ride.

We’d really appreciate any donations for this great cause. Please click on the link below to donate to Macmillan Cancer Support and thank you for supporting our fundraising.

*Please note all Government advice regarding exercise and social distancing guidelines will be strictly adhered to by all S&W team members while undertaking this charity fundraising challenge.
