Smith & Wollensky has been serving up the finest USDA dry aged steak to hungry Londoners since launching last year and is the ideal spot to celebrate America’s Independence this July with a full weekend of USA themed food, drink and festivities. The celebrations will run from Saturday 2nd – Monday 4th July where guests will be able to sample a selection of all-American special dishes including the classic American hot dog, the cajun spiced Wollensky burger, sticky honey & hickory ribs, corn on the cob and warm apple pie. Smith & Wollensky’s full menu featuring an array of sumptuous steaks and premium seafood will also be on offer. Diners can wash down their food with a classic or contemporary US cocktail, created by head bartender Ernest Reid, such as the Old Timer (Bulleit Bourbon, Old Fashioned Syrup, Jerry Thomas Decanter Bitters) or the Barrel Aged Negroni (Jenson’s gin and Campari gently aged in a two litre American oak barrel with unaged Antica formula), or choose from the list of American wines, the largest in the UK. On Monday 4th, there will also be live music from an American inspired Dixie band the Dixieland Jazzers from 5.30pm to 8.30pm.
